Marla Korr
     Marla Korr studied with Philip Pearlstein, Lennart Anderson and Jimmy Ernst  where she earned an MFA degree at CUNY (Brooklyn). After CUNY she continued her studies at the New York Academy followed by an intensive six year program at the Stevenson Academy of Traditional Painting (whose founder, Harold Stevenson, was apprentice and friend of Norman Rockwell).  Her studies and training aforded her the background and freedom to paint figures, still life and landscapes with equal skill and style.

Marla’s work has been featured in American Art Collector Magazine. Her paintings have been shown at Olana, the Frederick Church Estate, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, The National Arts Club, The Bergen Museum of Arts and Science, The Salmagundi Club, . She is an elected member of the Salmagundi Club, The Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, The American Artists Professional League, and the Copley Society. She is represented by several prestigious galleries in the Northeast, including Cavalier Galleries of Greenwich and Nantucket, The Highlands Gallery in Bernardsville New Jersey, and Edgartown Gallery in Martha's Vineyard. In addition to her full time painting schedule Marla teaches a group of dedicated artists.
